PE teacher, Emma Wareham, has recently achieved an impressive 2nd place at the second round of the Pearce Cycle Championship which took place at Bringewood Downhill Mountain bike trail in Ludlow, Shropshire. Emma competed in the Elite Woman’s category, riding for Leisure Lakes who are sponsored by Wenlock Spring.

Emma Wareham commented; “The race was so exciting and it was such a good feeling to finish in 2nd place, especially when you are just behind a World Champion! We all had two attempts at the race and the sun came out in my second race so I was extremely lucky. The track was challenging with some complex jumps but I managed to finish in 2 minutes 32 seconds. When I am training and competing I always drink Wenlock Spring to stay hydrated and refreshed; it is the perfect water to spur me on.”

Wenlock Spring Welcomes Local MP in Bid for the UK to Stay Cooler!

Wenlock Spring welcomed Local MP, Philip Dunne, as part of a UK-wide campaign to raise general awareness of the importance of regularly drinking water at the workplace. Matthew Orme, Director of Wenlock Spring, showed Philip Dunne around the bottling hall, giving him an insight into the whole bottling process, from source to bottle. Philip was also introduced to the Wenlock Spring team.

The Stay Cooler! Campaign, launched by the British Water Cooler Association (BWCA) is linking with politicians, Trade Unions and interest groups across the UK to ensure the true value of the UK water cooler business is made clear to those who matter.
